Books for Thought: Happy 4th of July Edition!

Happy 4th of July! Today, I bring you a Books for Thought fireworks edition...

Previously known as Monday's Question of the Day, Books For Thought is a feature where I post a book-related question up for discussion. I am open to all opinions and enjoy reading diverse comments from my lovely followers. I look forward to picking your minds!

Have a question idea? Share it here and I'll feature your blog in this post.

Since Fourth of July is known for its fireworks, what book couple electrified you with their chemistry spark?

My Response: Two words -- PERFECT CHEMISTRY! Alex and Brittany's passionate relationship oozed off the pages. I remember reading their moments and feeling tingly inside. Simone Elkeles sure knows how to stir up the reader's emotions with heart-pumping scenes. It's a great book and a classic in my eyes, if you haven't read it yet, I recommend you do so...like now! :)

What are your bookish thoughts?

I haven't gotten the chance to read Perfect chemistry. I heard it's really good. My book choice would have to be...hmmm.... Nora and Patch in Hush, Hush.

Great question! Need to check out Perfect Chemistry if it's that good! As for my choice....I'm drawing a blank. I love Eve and Roarke from JD Robb's Dallas series, and Molly and Dare from Lori Foster's 'When You Dare' were pretty hot. But I can't think of anyone who leapt off the page and created fireworks for me. :(

Again with Sylvia Plath, I am so intrigued by the chemistry of Esther Greenwood and her mental illness in The Bell Jar... I think mental illness and a person have much chemistry and leaving so much open-endeness to the readers that you can come up with any crazy (no pun intended) ideas as to what is going to happen or what might happen.

I feel like the only person in the world who didn't like Perfect Chemistry. For some reason it just didn't do anything for me. *le shrug* I'd probably have to say Bianca and Wesley from The DUFF. :)

Ron and Hermione. All those years when they were toghther I could sense the sparks. When after seven years of many hints they finally kiss, it was an awww moment, true fireworks.
