*Blast From The Past*
(I'll be including a book from the past with this post. I want to feature books that are no longer heard of that still deserve a voice.)

Blackbringer (Faeries of Dreamdark, #1) by Laini Taylor
Reading Level: Young Adult
Release Date: June 21, 2007
Publisher: Putnam Juvenile
Pages: 437

Summary: When the ancient evil of the Blackbringer rises to unmake the world, only one determined faerie stands in its way. However, Magpie Windwitch, granddaughter of the West Wind, is not like other faeries. While her kind live in seclusion deep in the forests of Dreamdark, she’s devoted her life to tracking down and recapturing devils escaped from their ancient bottles, just as her hero, the legendary Bellatrix, did 25,000 years ago. With her faithful gang of crows, she travels the world fighting where others would choose to flee. But when a devil escapes from a bottle sealed by the ancient Djinn King himself—the creator of the world—she may be in over her head. How can a single faerie, even with the help of her friends, hope to defeat the impenetrable darkness of the Blackbringer? At a time when fantasy readers have an embarrassment of riches in choosing new worlds to fall in love with, this first novel by a fresh, original voice is sure to stand out.

I have to read EPIC FAIL because my husband and I always say that to each other when one of us does something dumb.

For some reason The Liar Society reminded me a lot of pretty little liars, or at least the synopsis did. But many of these books are going on my wishlist!

OMG! We're hyperventilating that you're waiting on THE LIAR SOCIETY! We have some really exciting contests planned to celebrate the launch of the book. Including a cover contest! The cover you've got here is just a placeholder and we'll be asking readers to help us select our final cover! Stay tuned to www.theliarsociety.com for updates!

Hey Eleni, Tara's Hereafter cover just kills me! Thanks so much for putting Stupid Fast up in such great, great company. Felton (the MC) would be both completely excited and crushed with anxiety to be surrounded by les femmes excellentes. Thanks, again!!
