A Few Announcements:

-Kaitlyn from Onlineuniversities.com contacted me to let me know about this published article entitled, 25 Books Every “Lost” Fan Should Read. This introduced why they decided to make this list: "If you’re a fan of "Lost," you know that well-placed books were just some of the many clues (and red herrings) that the producers tossed in to heighten the mystery. Some of the books speak directly about the castaways’ situation, while others are more philosophical. The books on this list were all referenced on the show in some way, whether being read by a character or student, glimpsed quickly on a shelf, or just used as thematic inspiration. Digging into them might not solve any of the series’ lingering mysteries, but it will get you closer to the action." Being a HUGE fan of the TV Show Lost, I was intrigued by this list, so check it out here.

Bluefields recently published Kelly Oram's debut, Being Jamie Baker. I first heard about Kelly on GoodReads.com. The awesome cover and intriguing summary captured my attention.

Here is the summary:
"Most superhero stories start with a meteor shower or a nasty insect bite, but mine actually starts with a kiss..." An accident that should end in tragedy instead gives seventeen-year-old Jamie Baker a slew of uncontrollable superhuman abilities. To keep her secret safe Jamie socially exiles herself, earning the title of Rocklin High’s resident ice queen. But during a supercharged encounter with star quarterback Ryan Miller she literally kisses anonymity goodbye. Now the annoyingly irresistible Ryan will stop at nothing to melt the heart of the ice queen and find out what makes her so special. Unfortunately, Ryan is not the only person on to her secret. Will Jamie learn to contain her unstable powers before being discovered by the media or turned into a government lab rat? More importantly, can she throw Ryan Miller off her trail before falling in love with him?

I then discovered her book trailer and quickly fell in love! In my opinion, best trailer I've seen so far!
Check it out below and comment on your thoughts...

Weird question but I was wondering if you still had that copy of Being Jamie Baker and we're willing to sell it. I got it as a gift from my step mom who knew Kelly when she lived in Arizona but I lost my copy in middle school. Ive been searching everywhere for YEARS with no luck finding the original cover. They only make the new one and the old cover has sentimental value.
