Monday's Question Of The Day!
Question: When you first walk into a bookstore, what catches your eye first?
My Answer: Every time I walk into a bookstore, I pause first and breathe in that new book smell, I know a little physco haha. Most of the time I browse through the new releases and then slowly make my way to the Teen section, that's where they usually keep the YA books.

And the first thing i notice when entering a book store is my huge grin!
I look for the Sci-Fi and Fantasy banner then I run to it and spend about an hour until my parents drag me away.
Borders is good because while I'm looking mum and dad just have a coffee or something.
Bookshelf looks awesome. I actually built my own... two years ago I think.
Will one more bookcase be enough? I hope so!

I guess I'd say it's the smell first, then the shiny covers that lure me to pick up one after another of the books. As a writer, I'm so appreciative of all the labor and all the love that's gone into each of these books that I have a hard time leaving without buying far too many of them. My bank account takes frequent dips because of those trips to bookstores.
I think the first thing I notice is the New Releases for teens. Since I started book blogging I've been reading a lot about new releases so I'll be thinking "I KNOW THAT ONE!" or "I've read great reviews on that!" Lol.

The first thing I notice upon entering a bookstore is how overwhlemed I am by the sheer mass of worlds and possibilties. (Too dramatic?) I usually make a beeline for the safety of the YA section and then branch from there to scifi or science.
I'm always overwhelmed and want to read them all! But then I check out the front displays before heading over to the YA section. I also check out the latest paperback fiction. Covers catch my eye, I'll read the jacket and my favorite fun is checking out the first line of a book to find an author that took the time to get my interest from word one!
The first thing I notice when I enter the bookstore is the YA books. Or any cute guys inside. I'm too easily distracted.
hmm i think the first thing that i notice has to be the YA section lol everything blurs except that haha and omg ur lucky! i want that bookcase!
