What drove me round the bend: The handful of times in this book that Jace and Clary almost get it on. See, now, here's the thing with that. We've been teased for five books now and they still have yet to consummate this relationship. Not that I'm advocating for teen sex except that I've advocating for fictional teen sex. I highly doubt Clare would make Clary get pregnant and turn Jace into a jerk that would abandon her. She only seems fond of tearing them apart in supernatural ways and not in the conventional ways.
