Happy Halloween: My Top 10 Movies for this Holiday!

Happy Halloween to all my readers! This time of year, I always love cuddling up on the couch with a scary movie. Most of the time, the movie isn't scary in my opinion, however it gives me the Halloween type of vibe that I enjoy.

Below, I've written a top ten list of all the movies I love watching on Halloween. If I missed any, please feel free to leave me some recommendations.

Thank you for stopping by on this spooky day! I hope you all have a fun and safe holiday.

#1 - SAW

SAW is a movie that'll forever remain one of my favorite psychological thrillers. The ending is by far one of the greatest surprises I've ever seen in a horror film.

#2 - HOCUS POCUS

Hocus Pocus, is obviously a movie that we've all watched once in our lives. It's one of those classic Halloween movies that remind you of your childhood. I always loved seeing Sarah Jessica Parker and Bette Midler in this movie.

#3 - EDWARD SCISSORHANDS

Oh boy, this Johnny Depp movie was a masterpiece. The whole gothic feel makes it the ideal Halloween movie.

#3 - THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

The Night Before Christmas is my favorite animated movie. It not only pertains to the Halloween holiday, but Christmas as well. Two of my favorite holidays in one, it doesn't get any better than that!

#4 - HALLOWEEN RE-MAKE

Out of all the Halloween's, the Rob Zombie re-make is my favorite. I appreciated the fact that they explained how Michael Myers turned into a killer. You even felt sorry for him at one point, but at the end of the day he is one creepy dude.

#5 - CASPER

Oh Casper, one of the cutest and friendliest ghosts ever. Plus, whatever happened to Devon Sawa? He was pretty adorable.

#6 - THE EXORCIST

Here is one film that gives me the hibbie jibbies. The girl did a phenomenal job playing a demonically possessed person. I still to this day can't eat and watch this movie at the same time.

#7 - DAWN OF THE DEAD

It wouldn't be Halloween without some zombies, of course!

#8 - NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET

No matter how many years pass, Freddy will never get old.

#9 - THE RING

Just look at that face, need I say more? The Ring literally made me not want to watch TV because you'd think this freaky looking little girl was going to jump out at you.

#10 - TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE RE-MAKE

I actually really like this one. It's creepy knowing that this killer actually existed, or still remains at large? Who knows.

Okay, so there goes my list. I know I missed a whole bunch of movies that's perfect for Halloween. I'd love to hear your recommendations though!

Happy Halloween! I have fond memories of Hocus Pocus, so glad to see it made your list! Most of the others are too scary for me, as I'm a horror wimp. *L*
