Here it is on Wednesday! :)
Previously known as Monday's Question of the Day, Books For Thought is a Monday feature where I post a book-related question up for discussion. I am open to all opinions and enjoy reading diverse comments from my lovely followers. I look forward to picking your minds!

Did you ever have a moment when a song clicked with the theme or plot of a book you read? If yes, which song and book was it?
My Response: I love music just as much as reading. I clearly remember when I finished reading A Touch Mortal by Leah Clifford I stumbled upon a song by Christina Perri, "Jar of Hearts." It was hauntingly beautiful considering how similar it sounded to Leah's vibe. There is a part in A Touch Mortal where characters can alter a person's mood just by a simple touch. This section of the song "Running 'round leaving scars/ Collecting your jar of hearts/ And tearing love apart" struck me as symbolic considering the overall concept in the novel.
Plus, the melody and video is awesome!

Now, if only I found a book that has hot Korean boys as their characters, so I can use this as my song haha. You know I had to throw that in there! Don't mind my obsession. :P
What are your bookish thoughts?
