Bookish News Brief!

It's final! Jennifer Lawrence will play Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games movie adaptation. I never really heard of this actress but I can see why they would have chosen her. Looking passed the blonde hair, she has potential to look like Katniss. Get her down and dirty and she might just surprise us all. What do you all think of the casting?

So not a fan of the choice. I'm sure she's a fabulous actress, but I think they could've found a fab actress that actually resemebled Katniss. :(

I'm not sure how I feel about the casting, I am sure once they are done getting her ready for the role she'll be great. It is hard to find an actual person who looks the way a reader has pictured him or her and then once a person is cast it is hard to keep your own mental imagine of the character intact.
