Bloody Little Secrets by Karly Kirkpatrick
Reading Level: Young Adult
Release Date: May 2011
Publisher: DarkSide Publishing
Summary: 17-year-old Vicky Hernandez has a big problem. She's dead. Or not quite. After discovering she's been turned into a vampire, she tries to settle into a quiet suburb of Chicago and return to a normal life. If only she could stop wanting to bite her boyfriend. Not to mention she is dying to find out who turned her, and why. She doesn't have to wait long before they come to her.
My Thoughts: Tired of vampires? Well, I'm not! I, for some reason am so infatuated with their aura and overall existence in YA. I just stumbled upon Karly's release browsing the internet and was mesmerized by the striking image and bloody font. I'm not going to lie, the summary sounds a bit cliché but I am willing to give this vamp novel a chance. Plus, it's been a while since I've seen a vampire release, so my excitement escalated when I found this book!
