"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
Rosie by Mariam Maarouf
Genre: Young Adult Fiction
Release Date: January 2011
Publisher: Alexandria Library for Publishing & Dist
Summary: In life, nothing is the same as it seems. People create masks –identities – to hide who they really are –some for noble reasons, or nefarious ones, but only a tiny fraction because they must. Alessandra and Damien, or Rosalie and Daniel, were once the Princess and Prince of La Pacifica until they were forced out of the beautiful island. Eight months flew by, and they finally began to settle in Alexandria, Egypt, when they found out that they didn’t leave their past behind them, and that they were both wanted urgently. Dead.
My Thoughts: Rosie definitely sounds unique and new to YA. I really like the premise and I'm glad Mariam commented on my blog to introduce me to her debut. She's 16 years old and already published, that definitely is an amazing accomplishment. I'm not sure if this book will be available in the U.S. but I'm sure I'll track it down somehow. Support Mariam and add it to your GoodReads list!

This sounds interesting! I want to read it. There aren't many books with premises like this in the young adult section so I'm curious.
I wonder why they're wanted dead. I have loads of questions.
So they're a couple? How old are they? Where are the King and Queen?
I hope this will be available in the UK.
Oh my God. I'm simply out of words.
O.o
:D :D :D :D :D << That sums it!
& In reply to Kaya, no they're not a couple, they're siblings, only siblings and will stay siblings lol.
& I hope it'll be available on Amazon and B & N.
