Monday's Question of the Day!

*You are welcome to use my meme - just credit me please*

Question:
Which do you prefer, reading or writing?

My Answer: I personally prefer reading instead of writing. I guess all those English professors in college killed it for me. However, when I do write, I tend to second guess myself instead of going with the flow. I believe that plays as my weakness and takes away from my confidence in writing. But, when I read I let go of all my worries and lose myself in the story. I have a lot of respect for people who write constantly, I just don't have the patience or drive for it. Unless magically I get an idea that calls my fingers to the keyboard. :P

I'd love to know your thoughts, so leave me a comment :) Have a question idea? E-mail me at lafemmereaders@yahoo.com and I'll give you credit!

Good question. Currently it is reading... its just a way to relax ans unwind and lose myself in another world.

However- on occasion it has been writing, and I hope it is again soon as I have a lot of writing to do :)

Reading, like for so many other people, is easier for me than writing is. I love reading because it's fun. Even though I really want to write a long piece, I find it hard to do. It takes a lot of commitment, perserverance and belief.

I am definitely more of a reader than a writer. I don't have the patience to sit down and write anything significant. I do okay with my blog, but there I am writing about what I read so I enjoy it. Creative writing, however, is a definite NO for me. I think I would really suck at it. I am with you, I think all the college profs sucked it right out of me! :)

I want to be a published writer, someday, and obviously, I am a huge bookworm, so this question is quite difficult for me!

I'd have to say it's really neither. Both fit in my life no matter what. It is impossible for me to be a reader without being a writer, and a writer without being a reader. Reading is a favorite past time, a hobby. Writing is my passion.

I find reading much easier than writing - though it usually ends up spurring writing in response. But as far as creating-something-from-scratch writing goes, it's become very secondary to reading these days.

If I had to choose which to do for the rest of my life, read or write, I'd definitely choose reading. But while I am still capable, writing is still a joy, albeit an occasional one.

I prefer writing! Seems I make more time for that than I do reading. So my TBR list keeps getting bigger and bigger and I have a hard time making time for reading! A shame really! I have a lot of good books waiting for me.
But writing is a passion of mine for sure.

I used to prefer writing, but since then I have used up my creativity and have turned to reading to refresh that. Now I'm hooked, and I barely write!

Definitely reading. I lack the create gene. You wouldn't want to read anything I write. LOL
