Question: Who would you consider to be your all time favorite author? If you ever met them, what would you say to them?
My Answer: I have a few authors I really love. But, the two that stick out in my mind are Simone Elkeles and Cassandra Clare. I can never get enough of their flawless writing and fascinating stories. I actually was very lucky to meet Simone at BEA. She was a total sweetheart and actually remembered me and my blog. I was literally floored and felt so special. I pretty much let her know how amazing she was and how I adored all her books, especially Perfect Chemistry.
Now, if I ever met Cassandra Clare I think I would hyperventilate. I am so obsessed and in awe of her Mortal Instrument Series. It's pure perfection in my eyes. So, I'd probably be a stuttering dork around her haha.
I also wanted to throw in a HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!

My favorite all time author has to be Meg Cabot. If I met her...well, I'd probably completely forget how to speak or something equally stupid. ;)

My all time favorites are Sharon Shinn and Elizabeth Peters. Shinn writes fantasy and scifi like no one I have encountered before and I literally have loved every word of hers I have read. Peters is an archeologist who write mystery stories - I girl after my own heart! If I met either of them? I would probably drool on myself and stay something along the lines of 'you write good books, me like them a lot'
you know you couldn't have chosen anyone better they are totally my fav to, god knows how i would react if i saw them! lol a lot of ummmms and ahhhhs :D
My favorite author is Christine Feehan, I love all her books. I usually read her Dark Series every year from the first one to the last one. She has a unique way of looking at things that just seem to click with me.
Don't get me wrong there are lots of authors out there that I really enjoy reading, just ask my kids I'm running out of places to put all the books I get. But she hasn't written a book I haven't enjoyed yet.
Jeaniene Frost and I would ask her if she ever thinks about doing a book for Ian?
My all-time favorite author is Nicholas Sparks. He writes amazing love stories that pull on all my emotional strings. What can I say, I'm a sap for love stories!
What would I say to him? Oh geez, I don't know if I would say anything. I'm really shy. I'd probably just ask to get a picture with him :)

J.K. Rowling. She's the author who got me into novels, sort of. The first novel I read that is not for school, if I'm not mistaken! :D I have never thought of meeting her, it doesn't sound like it's possible. Plus I don't live anywhere near UK.
