Summary: Seventeen-year-old Teagan McNeel falls for captivating Garreth Adams and soon discovers that her crush has an eight-point star etched into the palm of his right hand-the mark of an angel. But where there is light, dark follows, and she and Garreth suddenly find themselves vulnerable to a dark angel's malicious plan that could threaten not only her life, but the lives of everyone she knows. Divinely woven together, Angel Star takes readers on a reflective journey when one angel's sacrifice collides with another angel's vicious ambition in a way that is sure to have readers searching for their own willpower.

My Review: Angel Star was a breathtaking, exciting and heart-wrenching book. In my opinion, Jennifer has set the bar high for future angel releases. Her writing was full of pure, electrifying moments from start to finish. Each chapter was visually pleasing to my imagination. Teagan, the female protagonist, was a strong, easy going, roll with the punches kind of girl. I liked her off the bat and was intrigued in the whole theory of a guardian angel protecting her. *Sighs* Garreth, swoon, he was such an innocent, selfless, and incredibly handsome angel. I mean what angel risks everything just to be with their one true love? Well, obviously Garreth. I was so in love with the way he stood by Teagan, even when his light wasn't enough.

Now of course we can't have just a good angel, there is always that bad angel creeping in the dark. Ah, which brings me to Hadrian. He was one tough cookie, nothing could crumble his evil plan. His dark demeanor shined through his personality yet, I did see some glimpses of a possible heart in there. This book put me under a spell and I enjoyed the roller coaster ride. The action scenes were well-written while the tragic scenes expressed vulnerability and sadness. I know more surprises await me in the sequel Lemniscate and I eagerly wait for its release. If you're a fan of the angel phenomenon taking over in YA, you don't want to miss this one!
