Okay so last Friday I attended the NYC Teen Author Festival Symposium. I had so much fun! For those of you who couldn't make it I made sure to take some videos & pics, so it'll be just like you were there :) The whole event was hosted by David Levithan, who was hysterical!
In this first video, the panel are all authors that use genre to tell the true story of adolescence:
Lauren McLaughlin
Sarah Beth Durst
Judy Blundell
Sara Shepard
Robin Wasserman
Diana Peterfreund
Maggie Stiefvater
Ahhh Maggie Stiefvater clip:

Me and Robin Wasserman, she was so nice! I was excited to meet one of my fave authors :)
The second videos are in short clips of a few 2010 debut authors:
Angie Frazier
Emily Horner
Alyssa Sheinmel
I was excited to meet Angie! She was sooo sweet! I was fortunate to have her sign Everlasting for me :)
Emily Horner, author of A Love Story Starring My Dead Best Friend
Alyssa Sheinmel, author of The Beautiful Between
In the third part we had authors who write about Grief, Loss, and the YA Novel:
Heather Duffy-Stone
Donna Freitas
Alice Hoffman
Alexandra Bullen
Sarah Darer Littman
Lisa Ann Sandell
Samantha Schutz
Donna Freitas, author of This Gorgeous Game
The last videos are authors who write about The Boy You Can’t Have:
Elizabeth Eulberg
Susane Colasanti
Robin Palmer
Elizabeth Scott
Melissa Walker
Maryrose Wood
Elizabeth Eulberg, author of The Lonely Hearts Club
Susane Colasanti, author of Something Like Fate and Elizabeth Scott, author of The Unwritten Rule
Sorry again for the crappy quality! Hope you enjoyed them :)

In this video, I recorded Sarah Shepard reading out of the latest Pretty Little Liars book & Robin Wasserman reading out of Skinned. Sorry for being a moron and holding the camera wrong, but I realize it midway through a lot of these videos hehe.

Wow thanks so much for sharing this! I was almost going to go and then didn't at the last minute--slightly exhausted from the trekking to NY for the Sourcebooks Party the night before. So glad you posted these!
Thanks for "bringing me along with you" to the conference. Great video clips too! I can tell you had a great time.
Thanks again
Hugs
