Summary: Who needs a book on dating a vampire? Well, Bella Swan and Sookie Stackhouse to name just two. They are fortunate to have vampire boyfriends. But what the heroines of Twilight and True Blood don't have and could use is some advice on getting along with them. Everything they and every other red-blooded American girl (and guy) wants to know about finding a dreamy blood-drinker and keeping him is within How to Catch an d Keep a Vampire: A Step-by-Step Guide to Loving The Bad and the Beautiful. And who better to introduce mortal readers to the world of dating a 21st century vampire than a few mouth-watering immortals? The cast includes: Ethan, with his aquamarine eyes and supernaturally seductive piano playing. Mordred, classically cruel, dark, and handsome, with a thing for black leather gloves. His entrancingly cute carrot-topped friend Adam, as sweet as Mordred is scary. Gunnar, with his rich, golden hair, and dastardly but delightful knack for getting his way. The experienced and fascinating Col in, with his exquisite latte-colored skin and exotic beauty. The eccentric but gorgeous Aidan, purveyor of ancient magic. And enigmatic Conner, with his deep, dark eyes and protective soul. These undead charmers will win the hearts and minds of readers everywhere, and author Diana Laurence will be their expert guide.

My Review: Ever wanted to catch a sexy vampire? Well now you can! This step-by-step guidebook will help you sniff out those badass bloodsuckers that most of us love. From the first line I was quickly engaged in Diana's tactics in catching a vampire. I read most of it on the train and would literally look around to look for vampire "signs." Call it crazy but Diana's persuasive writing really makes you think vampires exist. I'd love to meet an Edward or Damon one day, but do they really exist? Who knows. If you are a vampire addict and need a book to help you fulfill your needs then this book is for you. Overall, How to Catch and Keep a Vampire was a fun read and I really enjoyed it!
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5

Book Trailer:

You know there are people in the world who actually think they are vampires. I actually saw an episode on The Tyra Banks show about this guy who calls himself "Vampire Don" and let me tell you he can pass for one. He isn't bad looking, but doesn't fit my profile of a hot, sexy vampire. Just look below at his pictures...freaky right?

Now below is my utter infatuation and dream of what my vampire should look like:

I totally want to read this! I'll need all the help I can get catching Damon. I am with you - Ian Somerhalder is the PERFECT vampire. He totally should have played Edward. man, he is HOT!

Good review. If you love Ian Somerhalder, you should check him out in the TV show Lost. :)

I wasn't sure about this book until I read your review. Now I may have to check it out!

I have seen Vampire Don in various specials about Vampires. He's not bad looking really, but I'm just not sure about the whole "I'm a vampire" thing. I want a "real" vampire...LOL!

In Vampire Diaries, I like Stephan. I want him or Edward...I can't help it...I just love Edward!

Eleni, thank you SO MUCH for the great review of my book! Conner, Mordred and the gang have put you on their Reviewers We Love list. :-)

I haven't been watching Vampire Diaries (shame on me) but loved Ian on Lost. Definitely great casting there, and if Edward had been a little older when he was turned, I'd be all for Ian playing him! I'd cast him as Ethan in the movie version of How to Catch and Keep a Vampire. LOL
