The Exile of Gigi Lane by Adrienne Maria Vrettos
Genre: Young Adult Fiction
Release Date: April 6, 2010
Publisher: Margaret K. McElderry
Pages: 352

Summary: Heathers meets Bring It On in The Exile of Gigi Lane, where a high school queen bee's rise to glory is nothing compared to her fall from it. Call it a mantra. Call it an affirmation. Or, quite simply, call it the truth. As incoming Head Hottie of the Hot Spot, it is Gigi Lane’s responsibility to see that the ducklings at Swan’s Lake Country Day School fall into line. But when one classmate exposes her as a “mean girl” in front of everybody at the Founder’s Ball, Gigi slowly and wretchedly falls to the bottom of the high school social ravine. Gigi’s first-person account of her plummet from popularity is insightful yet naïve, set in a humorous, satiric world.

Well actually the book on my sidebar is the 3rd book in the Privilege series--it's a spin-off series of Private.

..But I have read the first 4 Private books and I really liked them, there was definitely more mystery and substance to them than I was expecting from judging by the covers.

Privilege strikes my interest even more than Private, but you kinda have to read Private 1-4 to fully appreciate Privilege. You should check em out!
