Monday's Question of the Day!

*You are welcome to use my meme - just credit me please*

Question: What fairytale or Disney movie would you love to see re-created in a book?

My Answer: Well, Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella were definitely re-created already so I'd say Sleeping Beauty or even Aladdin. It would be cool to see Aladdin in a different light, the whole Arabian nights feel would be awesome!

I would love to hear your thoughts, leave a comment!

I'm very into re-tellings right now so Snow White would be a good and classic choice. An Aladdin one seems pretty awesome!

Aladdin is one of my favourite Disney movies. I read the original story once. Disney took a lot of liberties.

My answers are here.

I'm a huge cinderella fan but it has been done way to much so I would have to go with Sleeping Beauty or Snow White. Maybe The Frog Prince.

I would love to take a tackle at The Little Mermaid. Different twist, told from a new perspective, there are so many possibilities.

Mulan, Hunchback (their version, not the original), even Lion King from Scar's perspective are also fun possibilities for me.

And if you like a different version of Aladdin, you may like this then. :)

Wow, what a great question. Aladdin would be great, but I think I'd also love to see Lilo and Stitch (I know, it's not a fairy tale, but Stitch is one of my favorite new Disney characters).

Have you seen the way Gail Carson Levine reinvented Tinkerbell in the Faires series? I love it, and the art is so pretty.

Anyway, I just wanted to say Hi and that I really enjoyed reading your blog. I hope you don't mind that I'm following you now...

Lol, Aladdin could actually make a very good teen young adult novel if you edit some parts. When I was 4 we got two cats and my sister and I loved Aladdin at the time so we named them Aladdin and Jasmine who are still alive today.
