Monday's Question of the Day!
Question: What book has made you look at life in a different light?
My Answer: I would definitely have to say, the Hate List by Jennifer Brown. The writing is so powerful and inspirational that in tapped into my deep thinking. It made me realize I should always be careful how I treat people because by being mean to someone for just five minutes can effect them their whole life. If you haven't read this book you should, it's amazing!

Mine is here. It's non-fiction, but it fits the bill!
Reading Hate List was one of the hardest things for me. I found myself crying so often through out the whole story.
And that trailer looks amazing. I'll have to go home and watch it again since I can't hear the sound at work. BOO work. LOL!

Love the question. Have answered and linked to it on my blog http://terrylynnjohnson.blogspot.com
Mine would be Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson. There's so much that goes on with people, and you just can't tell.
I want to read Hate List so much! I've heard it's incredibly heartbreaking and beautiful.
I haven't read the Hate List but it sounds great. I remember my Mom read a non-fiction book about the mean girl thing. It's called Odd Girl Out and when she I discussed the book it gave me a lot of insight in the psyche of the girls in school. We made my Dad read it because he just couldn't believe that the mean girl stuff really went on.
I can't think of a fiction book off hand but I'll see if something jogs my memory.
Great post, Eleni!
Yes YES! Hate List was awesome! Totally thoughtful. :)
Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. Convinced me to call off a wedding.
First time here at this blog. Its very nice and interesting. I wanna to visit at this useful blog very often. thanks for this nice video.
I have read a few books on the Holocaust this past year and I think The book Thief was an eye opener for me. We have all heard of the Holocaust but when you really dig in (fiction or otherwise) as to what really happened and how people survived.... it really makes me thankful for all I have and to hurt - really hurt for people who were judged so cruelly and in some parts fo the world... still are.
Eleni, the eyes on that cover caught me! Goodness! Beautiful!
Have you reviewed this book, I'd really like to see what you thought of it. It may be here, right under my nose but I'm a little sleepy. Sounds like a fantastic read!
