My Review: Viola in Reel Life was a super cute read! Adriana did a great job bringing Brooklyn, New York attitude to South Bend, Indiana. Viola was a spinning image of a typical artsy New Yorker, who is really talented but moody at times. I understand why Viola was feeling homesick because as a New Yorker myself I can't picture myself living anywhere but here. So, it was refreshing to actually relate to a character in that way. Viola's first love was her camera and she enjoyed taking pictures and making films. Viola and her friends in Indiana were very mature for their age that I would forget they were only fourteen! Growing with Viola was fun especially her experiences with having a first time boyfriend (which ended up to be blah!) and making a movie hit for a school contest. Overall very cute read, I liked Viola and the close knit family she made in boarding school. This book proves you can make close friends wherever you go as long as your open minded to it.

I would have thought, not another boarding school read but this sounds like fun!

I'm from NY also, although I'm from Long Island :) Was born there, raised in PA..ugh. I did go back for a few years, but am here again in PA...and I HATE IT..lol.
So much more to do in NY.
I just finished this one last night and I thought it was so adorable. I heard that in the sequels she is writing from the point of view of a different roommate. I hope that's true, that sounds so awesome!
