Bollywood Movie Love: Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi

________________________________

For those of you who remember, I started posting my favorite Korean dramas, now I've found another love....Bollywood movies! Has anyone watched them? Thanks to my instant play on Netflix, all I do is watch them! My sister in laws actually introduced me to them, I was a little skeptical at first but, boy I'm glad I gave it a chance.

I absolutely fell in love with the music, dancing, and beautifully visioned culture of India. Bollywood movies just put me in a good mood, plus the plots are adorable and some of the songs are pretty catchy. So far, I have a few actors that I feign over, especially because A) they are good to look at and B) they have fantastic acting skills!

My favorite movie thus far is, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, starring Shahrukh Khan. Khan is one of the most popular actors in Bollywood, and he sure lives up to the hype. I absolutely adore his role in this movie, and the female lead, Anushka Sharma was just as charming.

Check out the trailer:

Check out one of the great dance numbers:

And I leave you with Shahrukh Khan's sexyness...

Can you believe he is 46 years old, hot damn -- what do they feed them in Indian. *wipes off drool*

I live in India so I pretty much get more than my fair share of Bollywood-liciousness.

There's an Indian restaurant we go to that used to play Bollywood music videos on Saturday. They don't any more (boohoo) and I miss my Bollywood fix!

I really like the historical and epic ones, like Asoka and I love the surreal look of Devdas. And even though it doesn't have 'King" Khan, I loved Jodhaa Akbar too.

I'm not too familiar with Bollywood, but Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is one of the few I've watched more than once. I LOVED it so much. :)
