:: BEA EXPERIENCE ::

This year for some reason I didn't take a lot of pictures. But, I've included a few below with a look into the books I grabbed at BEA. For my second experience, I decided to take a relaxed approach, instead of running around like a mad woman. By doing this, I soaked in the atmosphere and had so much fun meeting bloggers, authors and publishers.

I always love hanging out with these girls, and I can't wait to do it every year: Sherry from Flipping Pages for All Ages, Emily from Red House Books, Lexie from Poisoned Rationality + her sister, Taschima from The Bloody Bookaholic, Jennifer from Reading with Tequila, Tori from Book Faery, Amelia from Imagination in Focus and Nikki from Wicked Awesome Books.

It was such a cool feeling actually seeing all new blogging faces! Everyone was adorable and super sweet. Plus, all the authors and publicists that I've been working with are a bonus treat at BEA. I was also amazed at all the celebrities this year! I'm a big fan of The Office, so when I saw that Mindy (Michelle on the show) was there, I had a fan girl moment hehe.

For those of you who couldn't attend this year, I really hope you can make it in 2012! It's an event that every bookworm should experience once in their lives.

I actually took this pic from Laini Taylor's blog -- it's the entrance to BEA and the banner of her novel Daughter of Smoke & Bone was gorgeously placed in the front.

Lauren Oliver and I... I absolutely adore this woman!

Simon & Schuster revealed the cover to the next installment of Cassandra Clare's Infernal Devices series. Can we say HOT!? I absolutely love how gorgeous Clockwork Prince turned out. And not just the model, everything about it! Since my camera phone has crappy quality, here is the actual cover...

Last but not least, I also snagged a quick pic during James Dashner's signing. I love that girl's expression in the background, an adoring look for an awesome writer!

Now for the books...

Cool bags...

I'd love to hear what you got in your IMM, so leave a comment! :)

Sounds like you had a great time! Isn't Lauren Oliver the best? She stayed until everyone in line received a book, despite having to move tables and going waaaaaay over her alloted time. Love her!

You got some awesome ones. Forever!! I was at Maggie's signing on Thursday, and was depressed to find out there were welcome packages in the beginning, with ARCs of it. Enjoy it for me!

Cool! I got some of those too, like The Lying Game which I can't wait to read. I saw you a couple of times, but am not one for approaching people (very shy). Hope you had fun!

Ooh, I cannot wait for Ordinary Beauty and Forgotten. Enjoy them both, as well as all your BEA books. It was great meeting you as well! If I go next year, I am definitely going with your approach and taking it easy. The times I relaxed, were the best times I had there. Including that lovely day when I ate lunch :)

I had no clue that Shatter Me had a trailer. Love it <3
