Monday's Question of the Day! (Dec. 14, 2009)

*You are welcome to use my meme - just credit me please*

Thank you to Nikki from Ramblings of a Bibliophile for the great question! :)

Question: Which do you prefer, Hardback or Paperback?

My Answer: I definitely prefer Paperback, it's so much easier to read. However it can also be annoying because the book develops creases in the bind. A lot of books do come out in hardback so I have no choice but to buy them but at least the cover stays in tact:)

I'd love to know your answers, so leave me a comment :)

I like trade paperbacks. They have the size of a hardcover, but the weight is closer to a paperback.

I agree with Jennifer. My favorites are trade paperback too. I like how they look. Hardcovers are nice and all, but they don't fit easily in my schoolbag or purse!

It's a 50/50 split, to be honest. I like the sturdiness of the hardbacks, but the convenience of the paperbacks. But if I had to choose, my vote goes to hardback books for longevity. :)

PB's R good b/c like u said their easier 2 read, but then they get all bent and worn out. HB's R good b/c their sturdy, but the cover paper thing gets annoying. i can't choose :D

For books that I'm adding to my collection, I get hardcover because I like how they look on my bookshelves. But just for reading, usually paperback.

I prefer Trade Paperback, but it is more expensive. I like the feel of a paperback in my hands but I like the size of a Trade Paperback.

Good question! I'm definitely hardback. I take my books everywhere and these take the abuse so much better than paperback.

I prefer Paper back books. I like to bend my books. Bad I know. I like them with the used feeling.

I prefer paperback. They're easier for me to hold and will fit in my purse.
